Questions
What is Ten6?
An investment platform for AI and deep tech. Ten6 invests one company at a time, through a separate vehicle for each, and stays engaged after the investment to help win enterprise customers and shape the exit.
How are investments structured?
One single-purpose vehicle per company. There is no blind pool and no fund commitment. Each vehicle is underwritten independently: you receive the deal memo, meet the founder, and decide.
Can I decline a deal?
Yes. Participation is decided company by company, and nothing is committed in advance.
What are the fees?
Fees are specific to each vehicle and are set out in full in its offering documents, which are discussed directly with investors.
Our own capital is invested alongside investors, deal by deal.
What is the investment horizon, and is there liquidity?
There is no single horizon, and we do not underwrite to a fixed one.
We back two kinds of company. Some are generational businesses, held for as long as they keep compounding. Others have a credible strategic acquirer inside about five years, because acquirers are buying earlier and compressing the traditional 10 to 12 year path to liquidity.
We cannot force an exit, and no one should tell you otherwise. What we can do is shorten the distance to one: commercialization capital builds the revenue and customer relationships acquirers underwrite, and the buyer is often already a customer.
These are illiquid private positions. Assume no secondary market and no ability to exit early.
Who is eligible to invest?
Accredited investors only, as defined under Rule 501 of Regulation D. Every Ten6 vehicle is offered under Rule 506(c), which means accredited status is confirmed by third-party verification rather than by self-certification alone.
Verification applies to every investor without exception, including those we already know, and is completed before an allocation is finalized. A determination is time-limited, so a repeat investor may be asked to renew it. Investment is made solely pursuant to definitive offering documents for a specific vehicle.
How does Ten6 source deals?
Through long-standing operating relationships across the enterprise AI and infrastructure market, frequently before a round is broadly circulated. Founders hold room for investors who contribute commercially.
What happens after I request access?
Ten6 is for accredited investors, and we’ll ask you to confirm your status when you get in touch.
From there you’ll see what we’re looking at : the company, who else is backing it, and the headline terms. Company decks and our investment memo sit behind a further step: your accredited status verified by an independent third party, because that material belongs to the founder rather than to us and a checkbox is not enough to release it.
Verification runs when a specific opportunity interests you. Subscription documents, identity checks, and funding are handled on our SPV platform.
What reporting do investors receive?
Investors receive written updates on each position they hold, together with the tax documentation required for their vehicle. Specifics are set out in the governing documents for that vehicle.
